  • Maths Foundation (GCSE)
  • KS2 Core subjects: English, Maths, Science
  • KS2 Foundation subjects: History, Geography, Art

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion for helping struggling students really understand.

My Goal

Hello! I’m Kerri: a qualified teacher, tutor, and dedicated mother. I gained my 1st Class Teaching Degree at Plymouth University in 2019 and ever since I was small, I  knew I wanted to teach. I have been a self employed tutor since 2025 and I specialise in supporting both home-educated learners and students in traditional educational settings.

Whether through one-on-one sessions, online classes, or group lessons, I am sure I can help improve your child's educational experience.

I have vast experience with students with dyscalculia and neurodivergence. Therefore awareness of SEND is paramount to my ethos. Many students I teach feel like they have not had an 'easy ride' at school; I aim to build their confidence. My goal is to empower students to achieve proficiency, a love of learning and eventually a qualification if they wish.w how to pick up marks in an exam

Lessons are calm, creative and judgement free; questions are always encouraged. I focus on breaking problems down into simple steps, explaining methods clearly and helping students understand.

With strong roots in Cornwall, I was born in the beautiful land of farm and sea. While my beginnings are firmly planted in the local community, my tutoring services are available online world-wide, ensuring that learners from all corners of the globe can benefit from my knowledge and support.

I believe in the power of education to transform lives. I have seen students go from near zero marks in a paper to achieving 30 marks plus in under four months. I know how difficult life can feel when maths is a barrier.  Beyond just improving grades, I am passionate about building students' confidence in their own abilities.
